Cool Stuff: Reebok's Hunter X Hunter Sneaker Collection Is Chimera Ant-Proof

Why settle for boring, bland sneakers when you could get sneakers that are inspired by the franchises of your choice? Reebok is known for its fantastic shoes with design based on popular franchises. For example, their "Harry Potter' collection will unleash the magic within you. Their "Jurassic Park line" captures all the icons of the first film.
Reebok returns to anime (after its killer "Gundam " collection) with a collaboration that's worthy of the Hunter Association. This collection includes images from popular anime, based on manga by YoshihiroTogashi. The anime "Hunter x Hunter", based on the manga by Yoshihiro Togashi, uses shonen tropes but twists them into one of best animes ever.
There's something for everyone who loves anime, whether you are inspired by Gon’s unwavering optimism, Killua’s impeccable sense of style, Hisoka’s murderous enthusiasm, his love of rubber or gum.

The hunt for the dream
Hunter x Hunter Nano X3 Adventure (160 USD) – This Nano X3 Adventure is Reebok’s new training shoe, which allows you to work out anywhere. It was inspired by the Hunter Association, an institution responsible for the education of all hunters. This silhouette features details that are recognizable by each hunter in training, from the stars they receive at the end of the day on the heel down to license symbols found on their ID cards.
The Nano X3 Adventure can be a subtle way to show your affection for anime. The Nano X3 Adventure has references to anime from the logo of the association to written in fictional language. However, it still looks like regular sneakers that "normies", who wear them in public, would use.
Hunter x Hunter LX2200 (120 dollars) - Gon is the star of this series and he comes to life in the LX2200. The colorway features orange ribbing, piping and Gon’s badge (405) inside the tongue. Triangle webbing is used on both the heel and the tongue to represent Gon’s backpack straps.
This is the most impressive of all the collections. Gon, the protagonist of the "Hunter x Hunter" series is a character with many flaws. He also has a dramatic arc which transforms him through the narrative. The sneaker is a great way to capture the spirit of Gon, his bright and colorful demeanor as well.

Hunter x Hunter Club C 85 (110$) - Killua, a skateboarder kid from the series "Killua", takes on this Club C 85. This is one of Reebok's most popular shoes for skateboarders. The toe cap was included to make the shoe more like the ones Killua wears. The model also features details that represent Killua’s Nen-oriented electricity techniques, including an electric detail on the sole and reflective laces with a glowing effect when lit.
Gon wouldn't be able to get anywhere without Killua. She is one of the strong characters and has the best style in the entire story. Reebok remodeled its Club C sneakers to look more like the shoes Killua wore in the 2011 series.
Hunter x Hunter Instapump Fury (200$) - Hisoka is one of the most fearsome villains from the series and he has left his mark in this stunning Instapump
Fury. On the heel and toe of this colorway, the silhouette displays the different suit symbols that the character wears on his back and face. A TPU shank that represents a playing-card and a rubber pink accent at the sole of the shoe, which illustrates the Bungee gum he uses against his enemies are just some of the details on this shoe.
Don't make the same mistake as the teacher who, on TikTok, wore Hisoka T-shirts without realizing who it was. His jester-like appearance hides a dangerous, strong and dangerous character. This sneaker has many little references, but also looks very extravagant and colorful, such as the tear and star symbol which represent Hisoka’s tattoos.
Hunter x Hunter Beatnik (130$) - Netero is a renowned martial arts expert and the head of the Exam Commission. He usually wears sandals and socks. The Beatnik's silhouette features references to Netero throughout, including canvas and blue-toned bindings.
Netero is the elderly but overly-powerful guy who runs the Hunter Association. This is why the Chimera Ant storyline is considered one of the best in anime. This is the more casual of the two shoes. They are both backless slides. However, for those who prefer a relaxed style, this design will appeal to them.

Reebok will also release graphic tee-shirts and hoodies with characters from Hunter x Hunter. The apparel ranges between $40 and $80.00.
Since the 1960s, anime has been a major influence on streetwear. Even when anime watching was frowned upon, anime and manga like "Slam Dunk", helped to popularize basketball as well as Air Jordans. Their eventual collaboration became highly anticipated. Since then, we've seen even luxury brands embrace the anime love. Bruno Bucciarati, from the "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure", wears Balenciaga on a Shueisha's UOMO Magazine cover (via ANN). Loewe's collaborated Studio Ghibli. Gucci had a capture of "Doraemon", Dior collaborated "Spy x Family" and Dolce&Gabbana even had a collection called "Jujutsu Kaisen".
Reebok's decision to place "Hunter x Hunter", a 13 year-old anime based off an unfinished manga, that hasn’t been released since 2022 on par with "Harry Potter" or "Jurassic Park," is further evidence of the popularity and power of anime, which continues its growth and expansion, delivering highly popular shows and block-office hits that can save theaters.
Reebok.com will begin selling the "Hunter x Hunter Collection" on March 22, 2024.
