Live-Action Teen Titans Movie Coming From DC Studios

16-03-2024

Live-action "Teen Titans'" is returning to cinemas. THR reports that Warner Bros., DC Studios and James Gunn are working on a live action "Teen Titans". The script is being written by Ana Nogueira. Nogueria also writes the "Supergirl' movie for DC Studios and had previously been attached to write another "Supergirl". You got it? Good.

The Teen Titans were first introduced in the pages "The Brave and the Bold", a comic book created in 1964 by Bruno Premiani and Bob Haney. They've been featured in a variety of forms since then. This includes animated shows and films like the "Teen Titans Go! Franchise, and the gritty live action series "Titans," which is known for having Robin use the F-word.

The characters in this new film are likely to have a completely new look, so you can forget about all the previous versions!

Teen Titans: The Movie

It depends on the author who tells the tale, but in the modern version of the Teen Titans, the members are usually Robin, Beast Boy (also known as Cyborg), Nightwing, Raven and Starfire, although there are others. It is still unclear who exactly will appear in the film. It begs the questions: Will any of these DC characters appear in other DC games first? When will we see it? The upcoming DC Batman film "The Brave and the Bold" will feature Robin's first ever appearance. The movie is directed by Andy Muschietti, who also helmed the forgettable "The Flash."
James Gunn, Peter Safran and Warner Bros. are spearheading a number of DC-based projects including the new film "Superman", which Gunn will direct. Warner Bros.'s DC films have not been a success, mostly because the studio tried to create a cinematic world to rival the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It remains to be determined whether or not the DC-based films will do better under Gunn and Safran's leadership.
