Here's When You Can Watch Argylle At Home

Know the real identity of Agent Argylle? Matthew Vaughn’s action-romantic film for Apple, starring Bryce Dallas Howard and Henry Cavill with Dua Lipa, Samuel L. Jackson and Sam Rockwell, premiered in cinemas on 2nd February 2024. The movie will be released at home a little over one month after the first screening. The story revolves around Elly Conway, a cat-loving reclusive author. When a spy (Rockwell), who is a real spy in the film world, realizes her novels reflect actual spy activities and she finds herself the centre of an action thriller straight out of one of her own books. Ethan Anderton, /Film’s very own Ethan Anderton, agreed with most audience reviews and rated the film highly.

Vaughn directed and produced "Argylle", a joint production of Apple Studios with MARV. The script was written by Jason Fuchs. Cloudy Productions and Fuchs produced the film, along with Vaughn and his regular collaborators Adam Bohling, David Reid and Fuchs. Claudia Vaughn is one of the executive producers, along with Carlos Peres and Adam Fishbach. Here's how you can watch the movie "Argylle", if you missed it in the theaters or waited to see it from your couch.

When is Argylle available to stream, rent, or purchase?

Apple and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment have partnered to make "Argylle", a romantic comedy, available in premium video on demand on March 5th 2024. Apple Original Films produced the action-packed romantic comedy, which could have easily been streamed on Apple TV+. However, Apple worked specifically with Universal to allow this film to be seen in cinemas. As part of the partnership, Universal will release PVOD in North America first before an upcoming streaming release. If you live outside the United States or Canada, the PVOD version isn't available worldwide. You'll need to wait until the Apple TV+ launch to discover the identity of Agent Argylle. As of this publication, no physical release has been announced. We will update you as soon as we have more information.

We have a breakdown of the mid-credits scenes in "Argylle" as part our explanation for its ending here at /Film. In this article, I won't spoil the details of what happens in that scene. However, it may be helpful to watch Matthew Vaughn's action comedy trilogy - "Kingsman: The Secret Service," 'Kingsman: The Golden Circle" and 'The King's Man'. Vaughn said in 2023 that he hoped to expand "Argylle," into a trilogy like the "Kingsman," and connect all of them into a cinematic world centered around spying. He revealed this during an interview with Josh Horowitz (via ScreenRant). The film was a failure at the box-office, and now PVOD purchases and rentals are the only way to recover the cost.
